Philip Reich, MH - Founder

Philip Reich Master Herbalist Diploma

Philip is a Master Herbalist having graduated with honors from a leading accredited healthcare sciences college. The focus of his education and continuing research is to best understand an animal's anatomy and physiology so he can use diet and natural supplementation to maintain or improve their health. Philip firmly believes the best way to maintain an animal's health, or mitigate imbalances, is to provide the body with the nutrients it needs to heal itself. This is in stark contrast to veterinary medicine that typically uses pharmaceutical drugs to relieve symptoms with little regard for the body's own healing abilities. While there is a place for the use of pharmaceutical drugs, Philip's years of experience has shown that the majority of conditions so often seen in our companion animals can be reversed, or greatly alleviated, with the use of natural products used in a holistic fashion.

Kassandra - Pet Wellness Consultant / Team Leader

Kassie Wellness Counselor
From a young age you could always find me either in the trees or in the company of those with four legs, where I formed a deep connection with nature and an inseverable bond with animals. In their presence I always felt loved, safe and protected, and so I had made it a goal in life to someday return the favor on a larger scale. My journey began with a deep rooted love for dogs and a strong belief that everything on this earth is actively working to regain a state of balance if only provided the proper tools. I have worked with animals for over a decade and now as a Pet Wellness Consultant, specialize in providing guidance tailored to each animal's specific situation. The Pet Health and Nutrition Center allows me to take hold of the mission to restore harmony and health by facilitating an approach that allows true healing to unfold naturally in our ever deserving companions.  I am thankful to be able to empower pet parents on a daily basis to make informed, confident decisions regarding their pet's healthcare so every pet can feel loved, safe and protected. In my spare time I absolutely love to train dogs, create new pieces as a painter, garden and more than anything, explore the world with my muse of a two year old German Shorthaired Pointer, Roawenoak.

I have always believed that nature holds the answers to our well-being. Working at The Pet Health and Nutrition Center follows my core belief that we are helping pets and their people with all-natural ingredients just as nature intended. This tenet is what ignited my passion for fly fishing. It allows me to engage with the environment on a deeper level and find peace.

I enjoy being part of a team that strives to be a beacon of light and hope for pets struggling with their health. When I am not working, I can be found snuggling with my cats while watching old movies and playing board games with friends.

When I reflect on the most cherished moments of my life, a dog has always been by my side. Knowing that we give people more opportunities to make those memories with their pets is the most fulfilling aspect of working here. When I'm not working, I am spending time with my dog Cosmos and thinking about coffee, space, bluegrass music, antique tractors, and the usefulness of the oxford comma.
