Your dog is very young to have a collapsed trachea, and I would assume this has occurred because he is malnourished. The freeze-dried food is too dry and doesn't make a good daily food. We have worked with many dogs that get nauseous after eating freeze-dried foods and this could be a reason why he doesn't trust his food and doesn't eat well. If this is all he will eat, I suggest placing the dry food in a food processor or blender with some water and this is the best way to rehydrate freeze-dried foods. To get your dog to eat better you can try providing our Stomach Soother 10 minutes or so before meals and this will help to settle your dogs stomach and improve his appetite. You can also try our Anxiety Blend and the Kali Phos #6 Cell Salt to support his anxiety. If you still need some help fill out our Pet Wellness Consultation Form and I am sure Kassandra will have some suggestions to help you.
