Unfortunately, since our Pain Relief formula contains the herb St. John's Wort that is contraindicated with seizure medications, your dog shouldn't use this herbal remedy. When using pain medication for joint inflammation we always suggest to also nutritionally support joint cartilage, or the arthritis will just get worse over time. For this we suggest our Bovine Cartilage supplement. To additionally help with inflammation I also suggest our Systemic Enzymes formula that helps to clear inflammatory proteins out of joint tissue. Make sure to give the enzyme formula at least two hours away from any medications. If your budget allows, the anti-inflammatory omega 3's from Fish Oil can also be very helpful. I always like to mention, just for everyone's information, that flea and tick medications contain powerful neurotoxins that all-too-often cause seizures in dogs and cats as a side effect. Too often we find that clients dogs had a seizure after using a flea and tick pesticide products and were placed on a medication that perhaps they don't need if they stop the use of these types of products. I am not sure if this applies to your dog, I just like to mention it in case it can help.
