To answer your question, yes our Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics supplement can be given to your senior dog when using medications. This supplement will help your dog to better digest her meals and improve the health of her digestive tract. However, for her diarrhea I would suggest our Diarrhea Relief and possibly also our Repair and Strengthen supplement to help reduce inflammation and heal tissue. Now to address your dog's thrombocytopenia (low platelets). This condition can be caused by a serious bone marrow disease, but more commonly is related to an autoimmune condition (Immune thrombocytopenia) that mistakenly destroys platelets causing a low platelet count. We provide a IMHA Supplement Package that we also use for immune thrombocytopenia with great success.
