Yes, from what you describe, it looks like a healthy diet for your cats. Generally, for cats we recommend a diet of 80% meat/protein, 10% organ & 10% veggies. However, for cats with kidney disease we lower the meat protein to about 50% and increase the veggies to 40% of the diet. The problem with egg shell as the calcium source is that it is hard for the animal to get all of the nutrients from the egg shell unless it is ground very finely and it is also primarily calcium carbonate (95%). Our Seaweed Calcium would be a better choice as it contains a variety of micronutrients and is lower in phosphorus. Also, keep in mind that a phosphorus binder will also bind and remove other nutrients so make sure it is necessary. I wouldn't add in the amino acid methionine because it is found in meat already and higher amounts can actually burden the kidneys.
