Chemotherapy is nephrotoxic. meaning this process damages the kidneys. While red blood cells are made in the bone marrow, the kidneys make a hormone called erythropoietin to get the marrow to make red blood cells. When the kidneys are damaged, they may not make enough EPO and then the bone marrow does not make enough red blood cells, and you have anemia. I think this is what is happening with your dog. I suggest considering our Kidney Support Package to support the kidneys and your dog's red blood cell production. Next, purchase this Cleavers Extract to support your dog's lymphatic system (FYI cleavers tincture must be from fresh not dried leaves) and adjust the dosage for your size dog (dosages for human supplements are for 150 lb people). Lastly, consider feeding your dog a healthy, whole food diet with as many organic ingredients as your budget allows and we offer guidance in our article How to Feed Your Dog. You can also use our Mushroom Immunity PLUS as well if you wish. This may be a long shot for your dog at this point, but I hope my suggestions help. If you need more help in the future please use our Pet Health Consultation Form. I would just like to add, that due to your dog's serious condition you may wish to have your package shipped FedEx Next Day and you will need to call us to arrange this express service if you wish to use it.
