Our Elk Velvet Antler makes a wonderful joint support supplement. While it does provide some natural calcium and omega fatty acids they are not in a concentrated amount sufficient to replace other supplements. Your dog's diet is imbalanced and I suspect that her lack of calcium is causing a deficiency and contributing to her itching - we have seen this before. We provide an article called How to Feed Your Dog that explains how to properly formulate a homemade diet for your dog.
