Yes, it is perfectly fine to use our Daily Multi Plus along with the BalanceIt® supplement (not replace it). BalanceIt® is just the same blend of manufactured vitamins and isolated minerals added to most commercial pet foods. I would much rather have you get your dog's nutrition from whole foods and this is easy to do. We provide some guidance as well as prepared diet suggestions in our article How to Feed Your Dog. Our Daily Multi Plus provides a wider nutrient profile as well as a more diverse blend of digestive enzymes and probiotics when compared with the Digest supplement, and can replace this supplement in your dog's protocol. I would also suggest that you consider addressing the degenerative myelopathy and MVD (mitral valve disease) as these are degenerative conditions and will continue to get worse. For the DM we provide our Degenerative Myelopathy Supplement Package, and we do provide a Heart Support Package as well. However, we don't want to give your dog too many supplements at one time so perhaps our Heart Tonic will be sufficient to support his heart as the Daily Multi Plus is already part of the DM supplement package.
