Since forming cystine stones is usually a genetic issue your dog should use our Bladder Wellness Supplements consistently. Our Kidney Tonic and Bladder Support can be used on a five days on two days off schedule. You should use the suggested servings for your size dog found under the Instructions tab on each product page. I understand it can be costly for such a large dog and if I had to choose a way to save money, you can decide not to use the Kidney Tonic if this does not fit into your budget. You can in the future play around with the suggested servings once your dog is stable to see if you can find the lowest effective serving for your dog. I also suggest contacting Kassandra, our Pet Wellness Consultant for diet advice as she has vast experience with this type of situation. I am glad you chose to avoid the prescription diet as this dry, kibble diet will make matters worse over time as a healthy, wet diet is very important.
