This silver hydrosol will probably not be able to reach and concentrate in the urinary tract in sufficient quantity to eradicate an infection. You can try natural products for an infection, but the issue with cats is that it is very hard to get enough supplement/remedy into them for long enough to eliminate an infection. If your cat has an infection I suggest visiting your veterinarian for an antibiotic and then focusing on keeping your cat's urinary tract healthy in the future. This can be accomplished with a healthy, whole food diet. This diet should be wet as this is very important for cats. A raw cat food diet is the best diet for most cats, but a cooked whole food diet, or high-quality meat-based (not fish) canned diet are next best. We offer some suggestions in our article How to Feed Your Cat. Then consider our Daily Multi Plus to improve your cat's digestive health and overall vitality and our Microbiome Harmony to help get beneficial flora down into your cat's urinary tract to out-compete pathogenic bacteria. If you think that your cat will accept having a little spray around their urethral opening, lightly spritz (not wet) this area with our Topical Probiotic Spray one or twice daily. Our article How to Get Your Cat to Take Their Supplements can also be helpful.
