I don't feel that Astragalus Root would be appropriate for your dog as it can stimulate the immune response. All dogs have different dispositions and yours being more sensitive is not necessarily something that has to be treated. We have a sensitive female dog that does the same sort of thing and likes the bedroom bed where it is safe and quiet. I would keep up with the Anxiety Blend to support his nervous system. The only time this type of formula that contains valerian root can be a problem is if a dog obviously acts more agitated after taking the formula - some people and animals can react this way to valerian and it is the exception. To support your dog's skin and nervous system I would add in two cell salts - Kali Phos #6 & Silicea #12.
