Our Immune Balance formula does not provide specific nutrients for the thyroid gland and is instead formulated to promote healthy immune system function and healthy inflammation levels. Since Compensative Autoimmune Thyroid Disease can damage a dog's thyroid tissue I suggest our Thyroid Glandular to support this tissue. I would be cautious about adding additional selenium or zinc to your dog's diet, as these nutrients are usually sufficient in a properly formulated diet and too much can be harmful. In cases where an animal's body is out of balance a healthy, whole food diet can be helpful, especially since most commercial pet foods are very high in carbohydrates that can promote inflammation..
