It sounds like your cat may have a sinus infection related to her gum inflammation. First, I suggest a visit to her vet as she may need antibiotics. Next, consider our Daily Oral Care to help bring beneficial bacteria into her mouth to out-compete pathogenic oral bacteria. Consider the Sovereign Silver to spray on her gums, away from the oral probiotics. Depending on what happens at the vet, you can try our Echinacea formula to support your cat's immune system. Since commercial pet foods are very high in carbohydrates that contribute to tartar build up and gum disease, I suggest a healthy diet for your cat. A raw food diet is best for our feline companions, and a second choice is a high-quality meat-based (not fish) canned food. We offer some suggestions in our article How to Feed Your Cat.
