I would look at their diet and find out the percentage of carbohydrates in the food. If the diet was appropriate it is unlikely they would have so much plaque and tarter buildup. The sprinkle of kibble could also be the issue as kibble is high in carbohydrates and can accumulate between teeth. I suggest that you consider the Daily Oral Care to help bring beneficial bacteria into their mouth.
