There is conflicting information as to whether Lion's Mane Mushroom can be given to a dog with an autoimmune condition. Some resources indicate that it is okay because the mushroom is anti-inflammatory and will help, while others say it could stimulate the immune system. To be on the safe side I suggest the following supplements, safe to use with the medication, to support nerve tissue, reduce inflammation and modulate the immune system: Immune Balance, Myelin Sheath and Omega-3 Pet.
