Does it need to be given 12 hours apart?
BioPreparation F2 F3 for Dogs and Cats
My dog gets 1.5 capsules 2x/day. I notice he drinks a lot of water afterwards. He gets it at 8am and 8pm, but wondering if I could give his evening dose earlier so he doesn't drink so much so late. Is it ok to give second dose at 6pm (10 hours after first dose)?

Biopreparation can encourage animals to drink more water because it is increasing cellular energy and detoxification. However, we want to make sure that the increased fluid intake is normal and not related to something else, like kidney function. Also, the 1.5 capsules seems like a large serving size - even dogs over 50 lbs are suggested to receive one capsule 2-3 x daily (perhaps you are giving your large dog 1.5 capsules 2x daily to get three capsules instead). I would suggest lowering the serving size to one capsule 2x daily and see if that affects his fluid intake. To answer your initial question, yes it is okay to give the evening serving earlier - it doesn't have to be exactly 12 hours apart.
