Hypothyroidism and Cushings Disease are often intertwined and this can be confusing. For example, both conditions share symptoms such as weight gain, fatigue and hair/skin changes. Hypothyroidism can also increase active cortisol creating the appearance of cushings. To further complicate matters cushings can suppress thyroid function creating similarities to hypothyroidism. Without knowing exactly what is going on with your dog it is hard to make a precise recommendation. I found a chart online that may help you differentiate between cushings and hypothyroidism so you can use the right approach for your dog. For Cushings Disease the recommendation would be more calming in our Cushings Support Package (also consider Flaxseed Lignans). For Hypothyroidism the recommendation would be more energizing in our Hypothyroid Support Package. To answer you question, I believe using both the Adrenal Calm and Hypothyroid Tonic will not adequately address your dog's issue and instead by more or less guessing and trying something rather than using the right approach.
