Our Myelin Sheath supplement helps to support the myelin covering on nerve tissue, so it won't be the best choice for your dog with IVDD (unless there is nerve damage suspected). Instead, your dog will benefit from our Bovine Cartilage that supplies type II collagen that provides cushioning for intervertebral discs and our Collagen that provides type I collagen for the structural integrity of discs. Gentle alignment of the spine can often help and we often recommend a good canine chiropractor for this purpose, or a physical therapist for massage techniques that can also help.
