Herbal remedies generally carry the caution statement: "Safe use in pregnant animals or those intended for breeding has not been established". This formula also contains an herb called yarrow that can act as an emmenagogue that can stimulate uterine contractions and cause complications. Having said that, these concerns could generally occur due to ingestion in significant amounts. If you feel that your cow will not be able to lick this balm and ingest it then you may decide this is safe to use.
