It is fine to use both Collagen Peptides and our Bovine Cartilage supplements for your dog at the same time. Collagen supplies primarily types l & lll collagen that provides structural integrity to skin, hair, nails, ligaments and tendons. While our Bovine Cartilage provides type ll collagen that supports a type of tissue called hyaline cartilage like that found in joints and the circular rings that give the trachea structural integrity. It has been discussed that providing two different types of cartilage at the same time may interfere with their absorption. I am not sure if this is true or not, but to avoid this concern you can just give each supplement at different times.
