You would use approximately 8-10 drops of our Gum Rescue for your large dog. Apply to fingers, gentle tooth brush or cotton pad and massage along gum line. You will use more if you use a cotton pad as some will be absorbed. I also suggest considering our Daily Oral Care to bring beneficial bacteria into your dog's mouth to out-compete pathogenic oral bacteria that cause gum disease. Diet plays a very large role in gum disease in our pets as most commercial pet foods contain large amounts of starches that get stuck in teeth and contribute to plaque/tartar build up and associated bad bacteria. Your dog would benefit from a healthy, whole food diet to improve his oral health. This diet can be home-prepared, a premix to which you add your own meat or a commercially prepared whole food diet. We offer suggestions in our article How to Feed Your Dog.
