We have considered providing ovary and orchic glandular supplements as specific glandular support for pets that have been spayed or neutered. However, glandular support provides specific nutrients that support a particular organ/gland. If the ovaries or xxxx have been removed then glandular therapy is not going to be effective. There is debate as to whether the hormones in the glandular (such as estrogen or testosterone) survive the digestive tract to provide any benefit. Our suggestion is to provide our Adrenal Tonic to dogs and cats to support their endocrine system and the production of sex hormones. You can also provide Biopreparation that is a microalgae supplement that can cross the blood-brain barrier to support the hypothalamus and the entire endocrine system.
