Cayenne will not cause stomach upset in a dog when used appropriately with one caveat. If a dog or cat has a specific gastric sensitivity like an ulceration, then you may wish to start our Nerve Tonic slowly to see how your dog reacts. Our Nerve Tonic herbal remedy contains only a small, carefully measured amount of cayenne—just enough to support circulation as a tonic for dogs and cats with nervous system concerns.
