No, our Systemic Enzymes are not a blood thinner. These proteolytic enzymes, when taken away from meals enter the blood stream and provide fibrinolytic activity. This means they help break down excess fibrin (a protein essential for blood clot formation) providing an antithrombotic benefit that improves circulation and reduces clotting to help keep the cardiovascular system healthy. This activity can have a blood-thinning effect, but they will not thin the blood as would a medication. This means that when using Systemic Enzymes as directed you will not notice a significant change in clotting if your dog injures himself for example. I am not sure of the supplement you mentioned in your question and can not speak further to whether our Systemic Enzymes can be used at the same time.
