Yes, our Pancreas Support Package for Dogs and Cats, which includes specialized pancreas supplements for dogs, does not substantially increase blood sugar and should be fine for your diabetic dog. These supplements do contain glands/organs from cows as part of the formula, however the amount per serving is quite small so I don't feel there is any reason for concern. Because your dog is on such a limited diet, I recommend introducing one supplement at a time to allow her to adjust to the new items in her diet. Please also review our article How to Feed Your Dog to ensure you are preparing her meals correctly. I am a bit concerned about the all-fish diet, as many fish species can accumulate harmful environmental chemicals such as mercury, PCBs, dioxins, and PFAS (forever chemicals), which could negatively impact your dog’s health over time.
