It certainly does sound like Bilious Vomiting Syndrome from what you describe in your question. One of the factors that contributes to bilious vomiting is lack of nutrients. Prescription low-fat diets provide very poor nutrition as they attempt to address symptoms of pancreatitis, but don't address long-term nutritional needs. Instead of addressing your dog's bilious vomiting, my suggestion to you is to instead focus on his pancreatitis. Watch our educational video on Pancreatitis in Dogs to learn more about this pet health condition. Then, consider purchasing our Pancreatitis Supplement Package. These supplements and herbal remedy will help your dog to properly digest his food supporting his pancreas. Next, provide your dog with a healthy, whole food diet. This diet can be home-prepared, a premix to which you add your own meat or a commercially prepared whole food diet and we offer suggestions in our article How to Feed Your Dog. Just select lower fat meat choices in your dog's new diet. By feeding your dog a healthy diet, providing supplements to help him properly digest fats, I believe you will remedy his bilious vomiting issues.
