The organs and glands included in our Daily Multi Plus for Dogs and Cats formula are included to provide general nutritional supplementation as part of a healthy diet. However, the amounts present are not sufficient to fully replace organs in a home-prepared diet. Therefore, if you are making your own pet food, you should still add sufficient organs/glands to meet your dog or cat's nutritional requirements. Additionally, for targeted support of a specific organ system, such as weak kidneys for example, consider adding a dedicated supplement like our Kidney Glandular.
