You can certainly use both our Chia Seed Oil and Omega-3 Pet (Nordic Naturals fish oil) supplements together as they provide different types of omega-3 fatty acids. I would use the minimum suggested serving size of each and see how your dog does. If your dog gets loose stool then that would be a sign of too much oil and you would reduce the serving sizes of the oils. If there isn't currently any joint inflammation (and even if there was), and joint support is your primary goal, I would consider using the Chia Seed Oil and combining that with our Bovine Cartilage supplement that provides type II collagen to maintain the health of joint tissue.
