Yes, it is okay to start your small dog on the Biopreparation F2 formula. Start with 1/4 capsule (estimate as best you can) mixed in the morning meal, then after four days add in a second 1/4 capsule serving in the evening meal for a total of 1/4 capsule 2x daily. Biopreparation has a plant-like taste that is not very strong. Your dog's hind leg weakness is likely connected to her kidney disease.
