Vomiting yellow/green stomach contents first thing in the morning is often related to bilious vomiting. This generally occurs when the stomach is empty creating nausea and then the vomit reflex. Often poor digestion and/or a processed kibble diet high in carbohydrates that digest quickly leaving a dog or cat hungry are to blame.
