You can purchase any size package that you wish as the sizes are suggestions only. However, we do suggest to get at least a one month supply of supplements to start with to give enough time to get an idea how the supplements are working for your dog or cat. In this case, for your 53 lb dog we would suggest starting with the Medium Liver Support Package and using the dosage suggestions or a 50 lb dog.
