Generally speaking, an herbal remedy like the Antilithic is better absorbed separate from the main meal. This is because it doesn't have to compete with digestion. However, this doesn't mean the remedy has to be squirted into the mouth. It can be placed in a small amount of treat food like organic yogurt or organic apple sauce. Having said that, everyone has busy lives, so the most important thing is to get the herbal remedy into your cat or dog. If that means mixing it into the main meals, then that is going to be just fine and the herbal remedy is still going to provide the intended health benefits.
