Buck Mountain Botanicals Organic Grindelia is well known among Western herbalists for its usefulness as a respiratory herb. Grindelia is composed of substances that act as expectorants (stimulate mucus secretion) and reduce inflammation in the respiratory tract making dry, hacking coughs more productive. In addition, Buck Mountain Botanicals Grindelia acts as an antispasmodic helping to calm a spastic cough while dilating bronchioles helping to promote better lung function.
In Dr. Fox's opinion Grindelia is the best natural cough suppressant and expectorant available. Buck Mountain Botanicals Grindelia can be useful for easing the symptoms of Bordetella (Kennel cough) as well as assisting horses with heaves and dogs, cats and birds, virtually all creatures, with respiratory infections.
