Evanger's Cat Food has been formulated by the Evanger's Dog & Cat Food Company since 1935. Evanger's founder Fred Evanger raised champion Great Danes. He was a fervent believer that his dogs' health and the health of their offspring were dependent on wholesome, nutritious food - food without any preservatives and free of harmful additives. Frustrated with the pet food available to him, Mr. Evanger built a canning factory at his kennels and began producing premium pet foods like Evanger's Cat Food. Almost 70 years later, we now know that he was a man ahead of his time! Evanger's Cat Food is highly palatable and does NOT include artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, salt or animal by-products and is formulated to satisfy those finicky eaters!
