In my household, we are primarily raw food feeders, but Orijen is the kibble dog food we reach for whenever we have forgotten to defrost enough raw food or when we travel. I love that this food is formulated to closely match a biologically appropriate diet for canines and features human-grade constituents with loads of high-quality meat protein, fresh regional ingredients, native botanicals, no grains and minimal synthetic vitamins. In addition, Orijen is prepared using a low-temperature processing method (that helps to preserve nutrients) in their family-owned facility (very important to me for quality control and safety!), which, when combined with the top-quality ingredients, I feel puts this food in the top of its class!
