Parrots need variety not just because it is healthier nutritionally but because they get bored with repetition and need to be stimulated both visually and with a variety of textures. Please note: Because of the large amount of fruits in this mix, some of the fruits do contain sulfites.

Should I add anything else to my bird's diet if I am feeding Dr. Harveys Parrot Food?
Dr. Harvey recommends that in addition to this blend, all parrots be fed fresh healthy foods and another mix or pelleted diet containing protein. This is a treat mix that can be fed 3-4 days a week when used in conjunction with other protein containing foods.
