K9 Natural Raw Green Tripe contains natural probiotics and makes a healthy "fast" meal (we feed our dogs this tripe on Sundays), a temporary food for dogs struggling with various conditions (low fat for dogs with pancreatitis for example), part of a diet rotation or as a transition for dogs onto a species appropriate raw diet. Feeding Raw Green Tripe for approximately one week before you start to feed a K9 Natural frozen diet can help make a smooth transition. We do not recommend mixing tripe or any raw diets with cooked food (kibble) because the digestive rate is very different, so raw and kibble diets should always be fed separately.

K9 Natural is a product which meets the very highest of standards. They have a specific focus on food safety and quality when sourcing their ingredients, all of which are from the clean, green pastures or pristine waters of New Zealand. This can make a huge difference for many animals, especially those with inflammatory conditions, as most of the meat and tripe in commercial dog food is grain fed, and the corn and other garbage fed to these animals on feed lots can be highly allergenic and inflammatory.
