Buck Mountain Botanicals Lepsilyte is formulated from organic extracts of skullcap and valerian that together can significantly reduce the frequency and severity of seizures. For centuries herbalists have recognized skullcap as one of the most effective herbal nervines. A flavonoid compound found in skullcap is thought to be responsible for its sedative and antispasmodic properties. Valerian is an effective herbal sedative that works to safely and gently calm the nerves without inducing an altered state such as that which may be experienced with a prescription drug.

My 3 year old beagle has had seizures since he was 9 months old. My holistic vet added this product to potassium bromide that was prescribed by the neurologist I was seeing. We have seen a tremendous difference in the severity and frequency of his seizures since adding the Lepsilyte. We are slowly weaning him off the potassium bromide and hope to be 100% Lepsilyte in the near future. It is worth a try and safer than phenobarbitol and postassium bromide.

Our 5 year old German Shorthair has had seizures for the last three years. Lepsilyte has helped. The seizures happen now 3 to 4 times a year and the severity is a lot less. So glad our vet recommended it.

This liquid has allowed us to get my epileptic cocker off phenobarbital and potassium bromide.
